Playing Fees

Malory Eagles are proud to be the most successful volleyball club in the UK. This success has at its foundations our focus on technical excellence, a thriving social scene and a strong youth development programme. Club playing fees cover all of our activity including venue hire, equipment, competition entry and discretionary events such as Christmas drinks. We are a not-for-profit organisation and collect playing fees only to cover our costs, so it’s really important that fees are paid on time.

Welcome Period
The first month's training sessions with our club are free. After these, you will need to pay the joining fee and monthly subscriptions, which entitles you to represent the club in the London and/or National League. Alternatively, you can 'pay as you play' for training.

Joining Fee
We have a club joining fee of £50.

Monthly Fee
For the 2009/10 season, there is a £30 monthly fee, payable from September to April. For players representing both a London and National league team, this rises to £45.

Concessions

We can offer reduced membership fees (£15 per month) and joining fee (£30) for those in full time education or unemployed.
For juniors (those aged under 18, in full time education and accepting our Junior Programme Agreement) joining and membership is free.
We also waive fees for those coaching one of our teams.

Payment
Please pay these fees by monthly standing order (September to April) into the Malory Eagles account.

Long Term Injuries/Travel
If you’re unfortunate enough to suffer a long term injury, please let your team secretary know so that we can put your membership on ice. This applies also to extended absence as a consequence of work travel commitments. "On ice" membership lasts up to four months and benfits from a reduced monthly fee of £10 and access to social events.

Membership Suspension
As a club funded primarily by membership fees, we really do need you to pay your fees on time. We may need to suspend or cancel your membership if fees remain outstanding for more than two months. If you have any difficulty with payment of your fees, please contact our treasurer or membership officer.
