Ernest Bevin Volleyball Academy
| Ernest Bevin College (EBC) has a great history of sporting success and already runs a successful Football Academy in conjunction with Tooting and Mitcham Football Club. As it approaches its 10th year as a specialist sports college, EBC has developed a new academy programme for elite volleyball players. This full time programme (supported by Greenhouse Sport & Performing Arts) offers student athletes: |

Assisted by an experienced team of teachers and support staff, the student athlete will be at the centre of a holistic support package to guide them to volleyball’s highest levels. Academic tutoring is extremely important at the college and students are expected to be up-to-date with assignments in order to train and play. As well as strong relationships with their teachers and coaches, students will be mentored by our Junior Athlete Education teacher and given opportunities to develop their sporting pathways. All students will follow a leadership course (SLA, CSLA or Dof E) and complete the appropriate volleyball coaching awards. Student athletes will also be expected to contribute to our community programme as part of these courses. EBC is leading the way with the Academy programmes it offers and has high expectations of producing top performers in the future.
