Men 1 beat UBS 3-1 (25-21; 25-19; 22-25; 25-16). This result puts ME back in the mix for the title with their opponents having to play eachother and only 2 games left. Go Eagles!

The winner of the ME50 draw for March proves this game is all about timing. Irene Bucelli only joined the ME50 Club a month ago and she has already seen a return on her investment. As we get closer to the end of the season, the payoff gets better with the winnings being higher than the original stake.  If you want the chance to make some money, join us now with a payment of just £5.

M1 lost on Thursday to UCL Wolfpack by a single point.  Having run out of time it became clear that the time wasting and delaying tactics of the opposition worked as count back showed they scored 79 points to Eagles 78. The final scores were ME1 lost to UCL Wolfpack 2-2 (25-20, 20-26, 22-25, 11-9).

M2 lost against BA Jets. Despite this being on the calendar all season,  the second team were scrabbling around to find 6 players and with one late cancellation due to illness, the team were down to the bare bones (to use Harry Rednapp's favourite phrase). With the warm up started and one player still missing, coach David Jenkinson even got kitted up and ready but thankfully the sixth player arrived in time for the game. The boys played well and should have done a lot better,  but were let down by tensing up towards the end of the sets and allowing the opposition to open up a gap at that point. Final scores were ME2 lost to BA Jets 0-3 (18-25, 12-25, 21-25).

2009

This was a big year for Malory Eagles, seeing our creation from the merger of London Malory and White Eagles. London Malory was the most successful volleyball club in the UK, acquiring 55 national division one and cup titles over a 34 year history.

White Eagles started 33 years ago and built an excellent development program, consistently turning out division one and international players through its relationships with schools and communities throughout South London.  If you want to know a bit more about our club, look here.

Energy, Excitement, Passion

... just about sums up Malory Eagles Volleyball Club; energy when we train, excitement when we play and passion - always passion!  This site will tell you everything there is to know about the club: organisation, venues, teams, games, plays, philosophy, our outreach work, the whole 9... metres.  We want to share the love, so we'll also have loads of stuff about volleyball in general.  Keep coming back, there's bound to be something interesting when you do!
